The Proper way to use a Perfume !

Applying a perfume is one thing and doing it the right way is another. Today we'll tell you the do's and don't to apply a perfume so that it lasts longer.
So ladies take notes as we give you a detailed look about the correct way to apply fragrance:
  • Begin by spraying (or dabbing) some of your favorite scent on your wrists. However, do not rub your wrists together, as it interferes with the way the fragrance is intended to evolve. Just spritz and let it settle.
  • Next, apply a tiny bit to other pulse points: at base of your throat, behind your ear lobes, at the bend in your elbows, between the breasts, along your collarbones, and right behind your knees if you are wearing a dress or a skirt.
  • Unless your hair is perfectly clean, do not apply the scent to your hair or spray perfume on your brush. The oils in hair can break down and change the scent of your fragrance.
  • Did you know that perfumes can have significant reactions to the hormones in your body? It's true, so don't expect your favorite fragrance to have the same effect when you are stressed.

Fashion Trends to look forward in 2015

Welcome 2015 with some all new fashion trends. Today we bring to you 8 biggest trends that will takeover in 2015. Follow along, some may surprise you – but remember you heard it first from us.

1. Get on the Tassels
While the last season was all about fringe, 2015 will see a lot of colorful tassels.

2. It’s Transparent
Spring is all about sheer, but this season we’ll see the oh so transparent skirts and shirts!

3. POLO Day
POLO t-shirts tucked inside pants and skirts will make a huge comeback in spring 2015.

4. The Waist Flourish
Pants and skirts lending some extra drama and fabric on the waist area will be seen topping the trend charts this season.  Pair these with cropped tops or tank tops to make a statement

5. Suede Baby
We have been conditioned to believe that leather is now a staple of colder months, but designers are softening up a bit and using it for summer apparels.

6. Mismatched Earrings: Mismatched studs and drops are the coolest way to dress your lobes. Go on and take the challenge

7. Jeanius: Gone are the days when denim was only used for jeans and jackets. This season will see a growing trend of Denim dresses, jumpers and skirts.

8. Fresh Crop: Crop tops would still rule the fashion world but this time in  a less daunting form. Boxy crops(shown in the picture below) look more lady like than their skimpy counterparts

8 Fashion habits ruining your style!

Think you are fashionable? Think again! You may look fabulous, but are your style choices worth the pain and damage to your health? Today we’ll talk about long-held habits you refuse to break, fashion clichés you still believe are true, and small things you’re avoiding—or doing—that can wreak havoc on your personal style.

You buy the same size for all clothes:

Sizing can vary tremendously according to store, brand, and item.
Don’t sweat the number—pay attention to how things look on your body instead.

You think tall women shouldn’t wear heels:

This mandate isn’t only silly, but a little sexist, too. Stemming from a whole bunch of antiquated notions including abundant height isn’t feminine, and a woman shouldn’t draw extra attention to herself, this rule is one no woman should ever follow if they don’t want to.

You think sweatshirts are strictly casual wear:

Once strictly for athletes, gym-goers, and errand-runners, the humble sweatshirt has risen to become a very stylish staple.

You think jeans should be washed as much as your other clothing:

Raw denim can take up to six months to break in and shouldn’t be washed until then. Why? Jeans really do conform to our bodies, and when you wash them, most of the shape is lost. To zap odors, hang them in the bathroom while you’re showering or freeze them in a plastic bag for a day or two.

You think high-waist pants are always unflattering:

When worn correctly, they can trick the eye into thinking you’re taller and leaner by elongating your lower body. The most slimming item to choose are slightly high-rise slim-fitting jeans that hit your ankle, or simple high-black black trousers.

You think sequins can’t be worn during the day:

A modern trick to looking like the most effortlessly stylish girl on the street: Pair dressy bottoms like a beaded skirt, or sequin pants) with casual staples like a white shirt, a gray crew-neck sweatshirt, or a black blazer. Likewise, choose tops with sequin detailing, and pair them with boyfriend jeans.

You think denim on denim is a fashion don’t:

The trick is to pair pieces of varying washes together, such as a light denim shirt with dark denim jeans, or a dark denim jacket with a light-wash pair of boyfriend jeans.

You believe shorts have no place on the fall and winter:

There’s something incredibly cool and fuss-free about rocking a pair of shorts in the winter paired with opaque black tights and ankle booties. Stay away from shorts in summery fabrics like eyelet and cotton, but go ahead and rock shorts made from  leather, wool, jacquard, even denim cutoffs, which offer a nice change of pace from skirts when paired with boots, tights, and a chunky sweater come fall and winter.

Tips to look best in Festive Season

The festive season is right around the corner and we've come up with a handy list of eight tips that we're sure will help you out to look your best. Our number one suggestion? HAVE FUN! This festive season is all about standing out — and more than a little bit of sparkle — so forget about being shy until after New Year's.

1.    A statement outerwear. Chances are it'll be cold outside when you head to your holiday soirées each evening, so a chic coat is a must have. It's the first thing people see, and you can use it to pull your entire look together. Make sure that you find one that's perfectly fitted —One last tip: You can make your overcoat stand out by embellishing it with a broach or cinching it with a belt!

2.    This is the season to sparkle! There isn't a time of year when glitter is more appropriate than during the festivals. Incorporate a shimmering piece into your holiday look, whether it be a sequined skirt, a metallic blazer, or a cute, crystal-embellished pair of shoes. But be careful not to go overboard — try to limit this trend to one or two pieces per ensemble.

3.    Inject fresh colors into your look to reflect the spirit of the season. Sure, a little black dress is always a foolproof option for any party, but when it comes to the holidays, it's a pretty boring choice. Try to incorporate the season's popular jewel tones, neons, or acid brights into your getup to help you get into the holiday spirit!

4.    Get on board with the return of velvet. The revival of this '90s trend can be a bit tricky, but it's perfect for the holidays. Try a dress or coat in the soft, shimmering fabric in rich tones like plum or burgundy — if you're not completely sold on the stuff, try a velvet pair of shoes or an accessory like a hat or scarf.

5.    Eye-catching jewelry is key. If there was ever a time to pile on an armful of bangles, wear a gigantic bib necklace, or pull out the cocktail ring that's the size of a doorknob, it's the festivals. Don't be afraid to make a statement with your jewelry, just try to keep the rest of your look simple.

6.    Try a bold, festive beauty look. Fans of a smokey eye, a bold red lip, or an intricate up-do, rejoice! We all know that these looks are certainly not appropriate for every day, so try something more directional and daring when the holidays roll around.

7.    Experiment with textures and layers. Simplicity should be left to another season — during the festivities, your look should be interesting. Leather, lace, faux fur, or all-embellished-everything, give it a try!
8.    Ditch the denim. You have 11 other months to don your skinny jeans, so temporarily store them until the party circuit is over. Instead of denim, try some tapered black trousers or a pair of pants in a fun, festive color. You don't want to look too casual!
